Plain text canβt draw a horizontal rule, but a row of the right characters can. The straight lines here use Unicodeβs Box Drawing block β β heavy, β light, β double and β dotted β which was designed to join seamlessly, so the line looks continuous in most fonts.
The decorative dividers mix those lines with stars, moons and brackets: β¦ βββ β¦ for a clean break, ββΊββ βΎ ββΊββ for a soft one, ο½₯οΎβ§*:ο½₯οΎβ§ for a sparkle trail.
