Privacy Policy
Last updated September 26, 2026
The short version: Your text is converted in your browser and never sent to our servers. We don’t have accounts, and we don’t sell personal information.
Text you type
Every GlyphRoot tool converts text with JavaScript running in your browser. The text you type, and the styled results, are not sent to our servers, to analytics, or to advertising partners, and they are never added to page addresses (URLs).
What is stored on your device
- Favorites and recent copies (styles and symbols) are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are there next time. They stay on this device and browser only.
- Your current text is kept in session storage so it follows you from one tool to the next. It is deleted when you close the tab.
- You can remove all of this at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Server logs
Like any website, the service that hosts GlyphRoot may keep standard access logs — for example IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to keep the site secure and working. Because your text never leaves your browser, it cannot appear in these logs.
Analytics
GlyphRoot does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics, it will be limited to page views and anonymous events (for example, which style was copied — never the text itself), and this policy will be updated first.
Advertising
GlyphRoot does not currently show ads. If advertising is added (for example through Google AdSense), ad partners may use cookies as described in their own policies, this section will be updated, and no text you type will be shared with them.
Children
GlyphRoot is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
